Georgia Pediatrics Program (GAPP)
Interested In Becoming a Paid Parent Caregiver For Your Child?

Is your child under 21? Does your child need help with everyday living activities i.e. feeding assistance, incontinence care, transfer assistance, bathing, etc.? Does your child have Medicaid? If so, then your child may qualify for in-home care services at no cost to your family.
WHAT IS GAPP?
The Georgia Pediatric Program (GAPP) is a Medicaid-funded program that provides skilled nursing and personal care services for medically fragile children under 21—at absolutely NO COST to families. With GAPP, children receive compassionate, high-quality care right at home, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. If your child is Medicaid-eligible, you can apply, and approval is based on medical need.
WHAT IS KATIE BECKETT?
The Katie Beckett Waiver provides Medicaid benefits for children under 18, regardless of their parents' income. Eligibility is based on the level of care the child needs, similar to an institutional setting. With this waiver, children gain access to full Medicaid benefits, including GAPP services, ensuring they receive essential care at home.
